Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation: Grant Announcement 

ILCHF partnered with CSG to announce $4 million in grants to provide integrated behavioral health services in two of Chicago’s high need areas, Englewood and Humboldt Park. An innovative model of care, the Healthy Minds, Healthy Children, Healthy Chicago (H3) initiative uniquely blends primary healthcare services with mental health services and is designed to help children and their families through a team-based approach to prevention and early intervention. To announce the  $4 million in grants we: 

• CSG developed the strategy for announcing the major award including hosting an event at a health clinic in one of Chicago’s poorest neighborhoods and inviting members of the community and VIPs including the Mayor and Alderman.

• Prepared all spokespeople for media interviews.

• Developed all media materials and message points.

• Secured high-profile media coverage on ABC-TV and on WTTW-TV’s Chicago Tonight.
